DESCRIPTION:Execute irrigation projects to meet all specifications and requirements.\nPrepare installation sites\, including layout\, staking\, excavation\, boring\, trenching\, grading and back-filling.\nCut and join pipe\, know the limitations of different piping systems\, and understand basic hydraulics.\nLay out and install piping and water delivery components; backflow prevention components; mechanical\, hydraulic and electrical irrigation controls; and other irrigation system components.\nTroubleshoot and repair irrigation components and systems.\nUnderstand good business practices; construction contracts and their legal rights and obligations; and licensing laws and codes in their state.\nThis course could help in preparation for the Irrigation Association’s Certified Contractor Examination.\n\nCLASS: December 11th & 12th 8AM-4PM \nEXAM: TBA \nCost: IA\, IANE & CICA members- $425.00\, \nNon-members- $495.00 (the cost of the course includes all the required study materials) \nExam fee & registration is separate and should be done through the Irrigation Association at least 14 days before the exam date.
