DESCRIPTION:This training event qualifies for 8 NJ Water Conservation CEC’s.\nToday’s landscape irrigation industry is changing. There are less new installations and many more repairs. Why? The industry is maturing\, which presents an incredible opportunity for the irrigation contractor to embrace. Many systems are 10\, 20\, 30\, 40 years or older. This training will increase your ability to recommend and perform profitable upgrades instead of selling the customer short with temporary fixes. The skills gained in this training will pay for itself in your first system renovation. \nChoose the track that best suits your training needs: \nIrrigation Technician Track\n(hourly rotation through these hands on\nwork groups):\nPumping system upgrades.\nConnected controller installation and weather based programming.\nSprinkler and drip upgrades and renovation.\nValve rebuilds and replacement.\nPractice station with diagnostic and locating equipment.\nAnd sales skills practice for the technician to feel comfortable selling upgrades. \nWater Management Track\n(for owners and sales staff): \nExplore models for “new” water management businesses.\nUnderstand the benefits of the evaluation process and tools.\nIntegrate accessible controllers into the water management process.\nDevelop plans to motivate techs to embrace this process.\nPractice sales skills for upgrades and renovations. \nAnd “audit” the Irrigation Technician Track hands-on work groups. \nDate: Tuesday\, August 18th\, 8 AM-4 PM\nRain Date: Wednesday\, August 19th\, 8 AM-4 PM\nLocation: Lake Silver Springs\n555 Rt. 46 Kenvil NJ 07847\nCost: $129 per attendee \nIncludes lunch and refreshments! \n  \n  \nThis training event will take place outdoors and will comply with social distancing rules for enhanced protection and safety of the event attendees.
