This course teaches the landscape or irrigation contractor the fundamentals necessary to construct or service an irrigation system that will efficiently apply water\, be affordable\, and will last well into the future using methods for designing in the field or the drafting table. \nThe course includes: \nUsing the eight steps of irrigation design. \nSelecting the proper components based on the specific site information. \nLocating the sprinklers & other irrigation components correctly. \nSizing pipe to ensure sprinklers perform properly. \nCalculating friction loss in pipe\, fittings\, and components. \nCompleting a final\, complete residential irrigation design.
