The addition of pressure regulated spray bodies into regulatory codes is a widely used method of conserving water waste. In the United States, 20 states now require these sprinklers as well as many local agencies. And these are not just in areas motivated by drought.

This webinar will examine the laws requiring the use of pressure regulating spray bodies as well as the technology, it’s purpose, and why it was chosen as a means of water conservation. This will include the differences between pressure regulation and pressure compensation and the differences between regulation at the zone valve, on the main line and at the point of emission, and how any irrigation system can benefit by proper operating pressure.
