A common barrier to efficiently identifying a problem with electrical components used in an irrigation system is that a technician guesses or uses trial and error methods. The understanding and use of a multimeter are at the heart of productively determining an electrical problem with a controller or valve circuit. It saves countless hours and correctly identifies the problem.

The 3-hour online training course interactively guides the attendees though the proper use of multimeters in order to correctly and efficiently identify the problem in a controller, valve wiring, solenoids, and splices. Attendees will pause the training to use a meter in our eLab practice sessions during the online instruction to practice real-world applications of the skills and knowledge on the valves and a controller in front of them. This repetition prepares them to immediately use the new skills and knowledge in their job.
