Certified Irrigation Technician Training & Exam

Date: February 11th, 8am-5pm & February 12th, 8am-12pm

Exam: February 12th, 1 pm-5 pm (exam registration is separate)

This 1.5-day class covers the topics that an irrigation tech with one year of experience should have and serves as a class to cover the topics on the IA’s CIT examination (not included in cost). Many companies also use this course to develop their irrigation technicians so that they know they all have a similar amount of appropriate knowledge.

Certified Irrigation Technicians prove they have the skills to:

• Install, repair and maintain irrigation systems.
• Cut and join pipe, know the limitations of different piping systems, and understand basic hydraulics.
• Layout and install piping and water delivery components; backflow prevention components; mechanical, hydraulic and electrical irrigation controls; and other irrigation system components.
• Troubleshoot and repair irrigation components and systems.
