This is a day-long course is focused on analyzing the performance of an existing system, performing renovations of the layout, valves and control equipment, combination of troubleshooting, evaluation, design, sales, and project management. This will give you and your team the confidence to be able to explain the reasons why irrigation systems need updating and how this benefits your clients.
Technical Learning Objectives:
- Know new methods of solving layout and sprinkler coverage challenges with sprinklers, spacing, and nozzles.
- Use innovative ways to convert existing sprinklers to microirrigation.
- Apply improve efficiencies of troubleshooting and tracking valve wiring and solenoids.
- Assess valve failures and make recommendations on rebuilds vs. replacement.
- Identify the hydraulic requirements of adding valves to an existing system.
- Understand water efficiency options for irrigation controllers and benefits of remote access.
- Identify options for flow sensing, managing water sources and recognizing backflow prevention improvements.
