Your weather app may tell you the temperature, humidity, or when it’s going to rain or storm, but have you taken advantage of all the weather data that it can provide? In fact, that information and more is available and can help to make more consistent irrigation decisions which can lead to higher water-use efficiently. That same data can also benefit managing the jobsite production work and safety. You just need to know what the data means and how to use it.

This two-part webinar will show how to use weather app data to be more efficient at interpreting weather data and understanding the why’s and how’s to adjusting irrigation schedules influenced by changes in evapotranspiration (ET) and plant needs. In addition, the course will cover how to proficiently integrate weather data, maps, and forecasts into your daily work routine to utilize your irrigation system and equipment the best way possible. A variety of weather apps and weather data will be evaluated. Attendees will be encouraged to share their own apps and weather experiences.
