    Instructor: Keith Schweiger This 1-hour online course explores the essential elements of developing a plan to select and implement a central control system for large-scale water management.  Specifically, the course will share successful methods to ascertain information to determine the questions, process, objectives, and selection criteria to make sure their expected goal is achieved when looking at central control products. Additionally, the course will cover how to implement a successful control package that encompasses water and labor management philosophies, hardware evaluation, current system status and of course cost. At the conclusion of the course, the learner should be able to:
    • Identify level of user irrigation knowledge to maximize central control benefits based on their specific objectives and determine current costs.
    • Develop with the user desired and measurable outcomes/goals including what the testing and hands-on phase should look like and the roles of the user’s personnel.
    • Create total budgeted costs to ascertain an ROI that can be used in an RFP.
