This training event qualifies for 8 NJ Water Conservation CEC’s.

Today’s landscape irrigation industry is changing. There are less new installations and many more repairs. Why? The industry is maturing, which presents an incredible opportunity for the irrigation contractor to embrace. Many systems are 10, 20, 30, 40 years or older. This training will increase your ability to recommend and perform profitable upgrades instead of selling the customer short with temporary fixes. The skills gained in this training will pay for itself in your first system renovation.

Choose the track that best suits your training needs:

Irrigation Technician Track
(hourly rotation through these hands on
work groups):
Pumping system upgrades.
Connected controller installation and weather based programming.
Sprinkler and drip upgrades and renovation.
Valve rebuilds and replacement.
Practice station with diagnostic and locating equipment.
And sales skills practice for the technician to feel comfortable selling upgrades.

Water Management Track
(for owners and sales staff):

Explore models for “new” water management businesses.
Understand the benefits of the evaluation process and tools.
Integrate accessible controllers into the water management process.
Develop plans to motivate techs to embrace this process.
Practice sales skills for upgrades and renovations.

And “audit” the Irrigation Technician Track hands-on work groups.
