NCICLB #12350 6 IRR, 2 BUS CEU’s

Commercial irrigation systems have a nearly endless variety of issues that can occur over time because of the larger scale and diversity of terrain.  This makes having experience and knowledge of evaluating, troubleshooting, and correcting the problems effectively and efficiently absolutely essential to successfully working for or operating an irrigation service business.

This 8-hour course will cover many of the required and unique skills and knowledge requirements to improve or change a commercial irrigation system in a hands-on environment using a working commercial irrigation system.  Licensed contractors can work alongside their technicians to hone their skills while earning continuing education credits.  Technicians can learn these specific skills from a group of experienced instructors and the licensed contractors in an on-the-job type of format.

The 6 hours of field work will consist of the learners rotating through 6 stations to learn from instructors and peers.  There will be 2 additional hours of business learning covering the many special aspects of bidding, selling, and managing commercial renovation jobs and the opportunities for offering remote irrigation system management services.
